Joshua Abada

Josh Abada is the Vice President of Investment at Tredway, responsible for underwriting, structuring, and developing affordable and mixed-income real estate across America.
Prior to joining Tredway, Josh underwrote, structured, and closed over $1.3 billion of debt, equity, and tax credit transactions for Goldman Sachs’ Urban Investment Group, constituting over 15 million GSF of planned development and 20,000 housing units within low- and moderate-Âincome communities in New York, Baltimore, Atlanta, New Orleans, and New Haven.
Josh has experience with a variety of public sector subsidy programs, including low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bonds, brownfield and enterprise zone tax abatements, tax increment financing, new market tax credits, historic tax credits, CDBG grants, and opportunity zone investments.
Josh holds a BS in Urban and Regional Studies from Cornell University and serves on the associate board of Covenant House New York.
